Amplifier 2004

This is the project page of my 2004 amplifier project. It is a hifi amplifier built around two TDA7294. It has got six audio inputs, two audio outputs, a headphone output (powered by its own headphone amplifier) and of course two speaker outputs (2 x 80 W).

The photos show in this order the following parts: Controller board with PIC16F84A (reads the keyboard for channel selection, mute etc.), the preamp/input selector board (with NE5532A’s for amplification and relais for switching inputs), the power amplifiers (with TDA7294), the headphone amp and finally the case.

Both amplifier board wired up and mounted on the heatsink for testing

Headphone amplifier (again with NE5532A)

All components mounted in the case. The case was taken from an old and broken tape deck.
