Nevermind, it was the creators of a packaged DMenu who set the executable as "gmu" and not "gmu.goo"...

Sorry for being late, I was very busy :(

I'm using GMU for Dingoo. In fact, although all the .so files are in the "decoders" folder and although the program says it found 6 decoders, he says he couldn't find "mikmod.so", and loaded only 3 of them. Looks like blindness.

GagaPeter: Interesting idea. That shouldn't be very difficult to implement. So I consider adding such a feature for the next release. :)

Hi, first of all, thanks for that very good player. But one wish (I know, people are never satisfied XD): Please gave the player the posibility to save a file on the SD Card (2X) with the track history. So that a external tool can use this to scrobble the listened music to last.fm and services like that. The format could be eigther json (http://json.org) or plain text. The history should contain the file path (relative to sd root) and a timestamp when the track has been played (relative to the time the 2x has been started). You have my mail, so I would be glad about a discussion :)

With Inkplayer i can see the artwork embedded in all my mp3s.

So where is the problem? :(

I checked my mp3s.

They have covers no longer than 300x300.

And the option is on in my config file.

Maybe the player and the musics must be in the same memory? (I have gmu in nand and musics in sd)

cax: On the "About" page of the website (first item in the menu on the right side), you'll find my e-mail address. You are welcome to send me your fonts. :)

Thanks for pointing out that DefaultFileBrowserPath bug. It might very well be possible that I have forgotten to reenable that feature in the 0.7.0 series. I'll have a look at that problem.

The filesystem charset problem is somewhat tricky. FAT, which is used on SD cards, does not support storing character set information at all. So there is nothing that would tell me, which charset has actually been used. :/

snakebyte: Gmu supports both artwork as well as lyrics embedded in mp3 files (with ID3v2 tags). Beware that the cover imnages must not exceed a certain size (due to the limited amount of available memory on the devices Gmu runs on). If your images are no larger than 300 x 300 pixels, you should be fine. Gmur scales images such that it fits on the screen.
If it still does not work for you, make sure cover artwork support has been enabled in the onfig file.

GMU doesn't show the artwork embedded in my mp3s.

Does it support embedded lyrics?
